What’s Your True Weight Status?

One of the most important steps you can take to protect your health is to be aware of your true weight status. Weight, be it healthy or not, can be a risk factor for a number of diseases, including heart disease, cancer and diabetes.

That’s why it’s important to know your true weight status. The best way to measure weight status is “by the numbers,” which means using tools such as the Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference or the Waist-to-Hip Ratio.
