Tips to Fight Computer Fatigue

Working or playing on the computer for more than three hours a day increases your odds of developing computer fatigue syndrome. Extended time on the computer could cause eyestrain, dizziness, headaches, low energy, and neck, back and shoulder pain.

To help avoid computer fatigue syndrome, follow these tips:

  • Readjust your screen. Make sure your eyes look down slightly when you work.
  • Refocus your eyes on something far away. Look away from the screen every half hour and focus on something 20 feet away.
  • Remove your whole body from your workstation. Leave your desk once every hour to give your eyes a break from the screen.
